Literature Text

If only you could see,
What lies before your eyes.
Such foolishness,
But why am I surprised,
You look towards the skies,
For your hopes to come,
And your dreams, settle by your feet,
But it seems wherever you go,
Good fortune seems to follow,
And I can't see why,
Those who have never cried,
Seem to get all the good luck,
While those in the dumps are always stuck,
With the dreams that never seem settle.
We try to look,
Towards the bright blue sky,
Afraid to get our hopes too high,
That the blows of reality,
Would come sweep the clouds from my feet,
And you would just get all the glory again.
Asking questions, just trying fit in,
Those people are all the same again,
And can't imagine,
Why it pains me so to see,
Those lost souls caught up in a fake reality.
It was originally a song I wrote, maybe sometime I'll put the notation that goes with it on...

I really love your poem! It's so so true!

I hope you get the Regular Alice Part. You can do it! Just don't get the tall alice, that's criticism against your natural height. D:<
