The pain I could take,
The reef could cut up my head,
But if I didn't have the ocean I'd surely be dead.
Like a fish out of water, I yearn for the sea...
At night I can hear the waves calling for me,
For when I'm riding the wave, there's no time to think,
Take a cutback, catch an air, all out of instinct,
When I need time for reflection, when I need my soul to be heard,
I know the ocean is always listening, and I don't have to speak a word,
Every move that I commit, I'll commit to the sea,
For the waves are all that really understand me,
Out in the lineup, my mind is open to every possibility,
I could never feel more at home than when I'm out in the sea,
Because life is a wave, on which I'm catching an endless ride,
And never once will I waste a moment, sitting on the outside.
Am I the only one here who feels this way, or are there any other surfing/bodyboarding addicts out there who agree with me? GAAAAAHHHHHH!!! Seriously, it's like every time I can't get out there for one reason or another a little part of me dies inside :[
...need...ocean...can't...stand...land...much...longer...!

Just seven more hours and I'll be out there... *yawn* I'll dream of perfect waves tonight...
